In the tradition of artist-run record labels like Merge and Barsuk Records, Drums & Wires Recordings grew from a scrappy, artist owned and operated music management outfit called D&WA launched in 2010 with the aim of promoting our own music and the music of our friends and fellow travelers.

Our friends make up a diverse and vibrant music scene that once thrived in Seattle's Belltown district but has since moved to the outer boroughs of the city and beyond... and we've made some new friends along the way.
